Here she is!
Pete and darling daughter emptied the ten by twenty storage unit this morning! It took about an hour for them to load what was left of nearly twenty years of excess accumulation aboard Pete’s trailer for disposal at the auction, flea market, and local thrift stores. God Bless Pete!!!
The good news is that we are out by the end of the month which means no July storage charge for this unit. We are still working in the house to purge and organize. It is getting trickier. The low hanging fruit, the easy stuff, to get rid of is already gone. Now I am having to make decisions that are more difficult. Darling daughter keeps reminding me that “less is more”!
Yours, Merryweather
Hi Merryweather,
So true!
I’m starting to purge items accumulated over the last 30 years in anticipation of a move 2 years down the line… it’s hard work.
I am however looking for a good mannequin, if you ever run into one.
I do a lot of costumes for my youngest daughter’s plays and the mannequins that I have are in various states of disrepair.
Also, how is Pink?!
If you want me to rework that etsy banner to change Bee to Pink I’m happy to do it.
Good luck with this exciting adventure!
Warmly,
Sue

Hi Sue! Awesome – you are a costume creator! I will keep my eagle eye peeled for a mannequin for you! Pink is still in northern Maine; we won’t be getting her until we move to the island. We all thought it would be too confusing for her to come to Maryland first. I can’t wait to meet her! Since she has lived on the border with Canada I wonder if when she barks it will be “woof, eh”? I appreciate the offer to update the banner, but my Etsy shop ambitions are in hold until I get through this relocation! Darling daughter and I are coming north this week for closing on Thursday! We will meet with the painter on Friday before heading back to Maryland for the final preparations for the move. It is so terribly exciting! Good luck with the purging for your move! Best, Merryweather
